So, I'm thinking about putting down the pen, giving up writing. Not for good, though; I don't think I could go the rest of my life without writing. I just want to get away from it for a while. It's been so long since I've been inspired to write something. In my opinion, everything I've written within the past year, and perhaps a bit longer, is not up to what I believe are my usual standards. Then again, maybe my writing skills are just fading, and this has nothing to do with lack of inspiration. I'm not really sure what the reason is, but it doesn't matter, I'm still taking a break from writing. If inspiration hits me, I shall write. I am not, however, going to try to make myself write just because that's what I've always done. For the time being, writing is not my thing. So, to balance the creativity in my life, I think I'm going to focus more on my artwork. I love art, and focusing on it will help to better prepare myself for AP art next year.
